Quest Safety Consultants began as a small business in 2015 with a vision and mission to make a positive impact in society. At the time, Quintus Van Der Merwe, the founder, had worked in the civils construction industry for 6 years as an Occupational Health & Safety Specialist. He has worked for the largest IT Company in Africa, acquired extensive corporate knowledge, and engaged in various fields amongst the biggest names in the construction industries and in various sectors. Quintus has extensive knowledge in Fire systems, Safety and Security of business premises and is registered with PSIRA as a Grade A.

Quest Safety Consultants is a company based on the Christian ideals of honesty, integrity and gratitude. Quintus is a devout Christian and his work in occupational health & safety is a reflection of his commitment to the community and his values.
